Here we discuss or talk to the increase of the primary partition of all smartphones
with chipset MTK 6577, 6582, 6589, 6592, 8382.





Hello to everyone,

Problem painful of all phones with the latest generation processors MTK was the system of Android installed on a primary partition very small!

Now I have tried to increase the primary partition to approximately 13.38 gb!

Now no one can say it is not enough for the primary partition to install applications!

To saturate this partition it takes!

To simplify I pulled my two files ebr1 and ebr2 to go and directly replace the firmware!

Following the installation procedure

More important first of all is to check the drivers if are installed correctly!
try this last adb android :ADB_usb_driver_120827_v3.7z

1)You can flash or together the original firmware !
copy and replace the original ebr 1 and 2 and flash with flashtool together the firmware and make (firmware upgrade) !

2) After on the firmware that was preinstalled .. ...always using flashtool !
If you flash after the installation of the original firmware ...you can select only the two file ebr 1 and 2 ..and make download....... but you clear your custom on your phone!

The Correct procedure to flash is :

1) turn off the phone
2) remove battery and replace it without turn on the phone!
3) run flashtool with scatter file and the only two flags on the ebr 1 and 2
4) make download to the program flashtool
5) connect the usb cable to the pc

Download the original firmware and copy in this folder (the folder where do you unzip the firmware), the two ebr and try again!
This is the correct procedure...but make attention to not select all the files but only the two ebr!

In some situations that is not a bug...but is that after flash the ebr 1 and 2 the second partition must be formatted from the pc!

1) connect the phone to the pc with usb cable
2) Accept the to run on the usb storage in quick menu
3) In this moment the pc recognize the first partition....but we must enter on file manager or resources of the pc and click on the secondary storage!
4) The pc recognize that this secondary storage or partition is not formatted and says o you want to format this partition?
5) Say yes to the format procedure!

More Attention to the drivers if are correctly installed:

the debuging mode is when the phone is turn on but you must turn off the phone and remove the battery and replace it and DO NOT TURN ON!
If you say the phone is in charge ......this situation arrive after .....
You must connect the cable after you have run the flashtool to download button and in this phase the phone is connecting to the program (flashtool) but if this connection is broken arrive the charge phase!
You do not arrive in this phase....probably you do no have the right drivers installed !
Retry to reinstall the drivers adb android:
ADB_usb_driver_120827_v3.7z

i have a infinix x403, it has 4GB ROM and 512 RAM, but the internal and the phone storage total is not upto 3GB if added together. i thought of installing my applications into my 8GB Memory Card but not possible for me, because my application goes directly to the internal or phone storage which can only take 2GB+ worth of application size.

please help me out. how do i increase the space or can i install apps directly to the memory card which i will preferr more.

Guys i have successfully repartitioned the internal memory to 2.46 gb with is app taken from Philippines site....... just follow this

first of all back you data CW recovery.....

- Install the app & open it and select the partition 2.50 gb (recommended), don't choose 3 gb else you will loose your cache space.....
- Click yes (right side is yes option) & done.
- Go to recovery (CW) wipe cache / format user data.
- reboot the phone

and enjoy the new internal memory of 2.46 gb.... and restore your backup......
