Question DIV 8.2 or 8.4 on win XP??

    Hi all!
I´m having a lot of trouble trying to make my terminator dongle work together with the cracked version of DIV 8.2 and DIV 8.4.
When i try to start the software, "DIV dongle not find" message appears and software will not start! I have tried to make the files run under win 98/ME support, but still nothing happends...
I guess it must be somethin with the ****ty XP, cause terminator software works without big problems.
Is there any way to solve this problem or do i have to install win 98??
Looking forward to hopefully get some help!!!
    Thanks in advance....Benjamin!

DIV 8.4 works just fine on any XP based computer. For me, ofcourse. Check LPT setings.

    Well thanks guys!
It looks like the problem is solved, i only had to install DIV 8. loader, and start the loader and afterwards DIV 8.2 and 8.4 works fine, also without use of userport.
Now i got another nasty problem, but i will make a new thread, cause its not sony ericsson related...!

ok have you tried installing USERPORT.sys to allow your pc full access to the lpt port ?

Have you checked your bios LPT settings are set to EPP ?

Run the software from your c: drive ....

I was having problems with DIV working with XP earlier aswell , always getting 1010 error. Now i fixed it i use these settings.

BIOS - change LPT port settings to EPP.

DEVICE MANAGER : NEVER USE AN INTERUPT - ENABLE LEGACY PLUG & PLAY.

HAVE USERPORT.sys in same DIR as DIV 8.X.

After using those settings i havnt had a problem.

most the time the dongle is not at fault! I sell hundreds of these and if your LPT settings are incorrect, then none of these work. Replacing a dongle is the LAST RESORT!
