    Just right click on div executable, then choose properties.

    Go to the Compatibility tab

    The choose the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:
    and choose "Windows 98/ME"

    thank u but after pass "Privileged instruction" then DIV not found ! USB pluged, LPT pluged !(the same situation as the first guy)

    by the way i didn't install "userport"

    i have no idea right now,,,,please ,,,help me

    Try a diferent PC and see if problem remains. If yes, then you could have a faulty dongle.

    Try changing settings in BIOS to EPP mode. I can see you have it ECP mode.

    And i don't have "Enable Legacy Plug & Play detection" enable, if it makes a diference

    DIV 8.4(HACK) 100% work on win98
    DIV 8.2 (HACK)100% work on winXP (i had flashed over 2000 T610 already)

    finally , i give up.

    i change Bios to epp mode, and i removed "enable Legacy plug"

    still show some silly message like "dongle not find"

    can not start driver for win-nt LPT port access.

    i bought dongle from one-step-factory, it is brand new

    but i try numerous way change my computer setting ,

    still have a lot of disppoint mesages.

    Just use try it in another computer and OS.. if you are getting that message it is because something is wrong with "NTPORTIO.SYS".. Are you sure it's in the same directory?

    To set the LPT port mode to run DIV8.4 in XP or WINNT just:

    - in CMOS OPTION: set LPT to ECP+EPP
    - in WINXP or WINNT: set Use any Interrupt assigned to the port

    That's all !

    TESTED 100% BY ME IN P4 PC, MAINBOARD GIGABYTE CHIPSET 865 and PII PC
