    how to unlock W880I

    hi

    i have a sony erricson W880I he work only with orange....i want to unlock the phone how can i do it?

    standalone patch unlock method via alternative security bypass

    1. select com/ufs/usb as interface
    2. go to semc tab
    3. select correct model
    4. on settings tab, check "signed mode","alternative security bypass", "preloader security bypass"
    5. back on semc tab
    6. press unlock button

    you can not use that method , if SCRC damaged ( IMEI mismatch in IDENTIFY output )
    restoration files required for that method.
    bypass packages required for that method.
    please read FAQ post about alternative security bypass.

    i only have the usb cable that come with the phone.....

    someone told my to use se tool but my knowledge in sony erricson is 0....there is a guide for beginners how to unlock the phone step by step?

    i read her Free unlock of db2020 phones - Sony Ericsson W880i Walkman Phone Support Forum - eXpansys UK wiht only the cable???

    i try to insalled the setool but when i open the program i get an "card error"

    what can i do?......

    (i dont have a sebox ).....i only have the cable that come with the phone
