K750i IMEI - (iwas conned) - GSM-Forum

HI THERE,

i'm looking to change my imei on my phone cos they guy i bought it legitametly on e-bay totally conned me, i got the phone, the battery not in it then he finally sent the battery and after the phone working for bout 2 weeks became blocked - i phoned up o2 and they told me that he had blocked it but they couldn't tell me more cos of data protection crap, I've been to the police but they say its a civil matter - so basically its like £210 down the pan.

Can someone plz tell me what cables i can use with the cracked version of usb smart to change the imei - or what cables and software would let me do it.

I'm trying to do this onthe cheap so if someone could reply to this post with the best deals then i would be truly thankfull.

Changing the IMEI is illegal, your best bet would be to sell it on ebay again, but as a blocked\barred phone. I'm assuming your in the UK so it'll only be blocked there. It'll be fine in other countries, there is quite a few sold on ebay as blocked phones. Sounds like the jerk may have claimed insurance on it.

hey i think i'm gonna have to, the jerk who sold it to me pretends he is edwin cann instead of edwin leung when i phone him, and i know he is talking ****, its edwin leung that's registered to the return address of the package.

hey thanks for that..any tutorials on how to do this step by step using a smart usb dongle..(can you provide screenshots aswell plz..if you're not doing anything else)

thanks so far...usually when newbies post on more advanced forums like this one ya get told to bugger off straight away!
