| K790 Phone dead - Infrared blinks can this be solved?? Hi all.. Customer brought in a K790 to me yesterday. The phone does not come on, but when u press the power button, the infra red light blinks. When i read up on this problem, it seems to be quite a popular one..with the phone just not restarting. Is K790 cruiser flashing procedure just the same as W810/W600 etc.? Can anyone help me solve this problem with the customer's flashing phone. I've searched, and haven't been able to find much on flashing these k790/k800 phones p.s sending it to a sony ericsson service center is out of the question for this customer, i think the nearest one to us is in UK-im all the way in the caribbean. thanks! |

| The only thing you could try is an upgrade to the EROM and full flash; with Cruiser unless you have an EMMA card the phone can be customized but if shows signs of live, you can buy a credit at any server to complete the phone. If thats doesn't work, the security area must be damaged and nothing cant be done. |
