K800i red IR LED blinking, cant start phone.

    Hello.

I have got a problem with my K800i. The led next to IR port is blinking red 6 times when i try to start the phone or connect the charger / DC-60 cabel.

I have searched everywhere for a solution and i found a lot of different methods of fixing this problem. It seems that the EPROM needs to be repaired however i can't do this since Windows does not find the phone when i plug it in with the DC-60 cable.

I believe i can get this to work if only windows would find the phone. I have tried everything i can think of. Fully charged battery, 2+5 or C, different DC-60 cables, Shorting the battery, Different PCs, All kinds of software like Wotanclient, SETool, XS++ among others but none of them works since windows will not install the flash drivers when i plug in the phone.

Have anyone else had this problem? The problem occured when i removed the battery while the phone was still on. Ever since i haven't been able to start the phone.

Please share your knowledge with me.

    Regards
    /Cole

if software will not reconise the phone,
connect the **PHONES** battery terminals the Wrong way Round for a couple
of seconds, so - to + and + to -.
this does work...... you will need tiny pieces of wire, or if you have UBlight,
use the TP cable supplyed with that instead..
Then you will be able to work on phone, IE,, flash or repair Erom.
