LT26i and hardlock may be problem or who knows - GSM-Forum

Hi,
the phone is new one, but may be locked.
When i insert any card and after entering PIN it shows a warning:
"please insert SIM card and restart the phone"
Checked with code if phone is hardlocked and:
|x|Network - 5

so i have 5 tries left for enter unlock code, but there is not asking for code

Any advices?

are you saying it wont accept Any sim card, if this is the case, and phone is **New**
Dont play with it return it to shop...

you can try setool box check here

is there any program that we can check if the simlock is corrupted or not and need repair using any available software like setool?

i have one to similar case, it always says insert simcard, even if the simcard is inside, and it is a new phone...

i hope i was just as easy as unlock and repair simlock

insert simcard that is 100% hardware problem....thx
