    Angry p910i de-'terminated'

Ok, you are in an isolated island. You have:
    (1) no money,
    (2) a terminator dongle,
    (3) the SE cable,
    (4) a Internet connection,
    (5) and a p910i with the 4 locks closed.

Your life depends on unlocking the p910i... any chances?

    Thx.

    Thanks,but I fixed my P910i.

    heres what I did:
    1. Reformatted the phone's internal hard disk (lost all my installed programmes/smses/etc)

-to reformat, access the service menu by pressing (jog dial) up * down down * down * (unsure of sequence)

    2. I used Dss-25 cable + SemcTool, selected repair and check Remake CRCs + reset GDFS (note, phone must be switched off,all other boxes unchecked)

    -model selected was P900,115200bps.

Then it magically worked. You can check without putting in simcard by going to the service menu -> sim locks
i should be 5 (previous 0 when i screwed it up)

disclaimer: I have no idea what happened,or why it happened. The same methods may not work for your P910i. I'm just happy

Lemme know if anyone else got this to work. This is such a relief...

Ok,I figured out what really worked. It was NOT reformatting, but flashing using pxxx.sbn and then repairing.

Only one problem left,it keeps restarting. Any Solutions?

I was in the same situation; I flashed pxxx, and removed the 4 locks... phone works awfully since then (rebooting and hanging), but well, better than nothing...

I tried to read gdfs into a file (with pxxx flashed into the phone), flash P910_R3E_AVR_GDFS_full.sbn to the phone, and the rewriting just the gdfs (the one written before) to the phone, but still 4 locks closed.

So I'll keep using pxxx till something new arrives...
