SE AVR phones (T610, T300 etc.) GDFS backup with USB service cable - GSM-Forum

Is it possible to backup the full GDFS of "old" SE AVR phones (T610, T300 etc.) using a service USB-to-serial cable?

1) SEMCTool backs up only the security area of GDFS.
2) the_laser's old SETOOL needs a Terminator Dongle to work.
3) there are STA/STM utilities (sonyericsson flasher for avr-phones) by den_po; it's stated modified bootloaders from SETOOL are used there; it can flash T6x0's ARM with cables failed to accomplish that operation with SEMCTOOL.

Considering this, full GDFS [and maybe AVR/ARM flash] reading should be possible with "T28 serial cable".
The big problem is that those utilities are NOT open-source and the interested person have to reverse-engineer that stuff from scratch

Any more ideas?
