    Semc Tool v2.2 Error

    Hi
I have downloaded Semc Tool v2.2 and I wanted to unlock my Sony Ericsson so that I can use a 3 sim card in it.

However when i connect the T28 cable to the phone and I check "Clear SP Locks" and then click on "Do Sleected Jobs" I get an error, below is the reading which I get:

    Bypass boot authority
    ERROR: Phone not power up

    My settings are :

    Baudrate : 115200bps

Please can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how I can ulock my SE so I can use a 3 sim card with it.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hope to receive a reply ASAP

    My email is [email protected]

I first think that this phone can not be unlocked with that tool. As it have cid 36 most of them.
S700i is not a UMTS phone i think. So if "3" has non 3G bands, maybe u can use it. Otherways you have to look for an other UMTS capable phone.
