Sony Erricson LT18i how to enter NCK ?

    Hi all,

from the past few days i am unable to enter nck in LT18i even after trying all the possible solutions on the internet ....

the problem is that i am unable to find and press the star button and when i put a non supported card no window appears on the screen to enter the code.

    First Solution

For the unlocking of a locked Sony Ericsson no SIM card is required.
Turn on the handset. The display will indicate “Insert SIM.”
    Press the left Arrow (
Press the star (*) button twice.
    Press the left Arrow (
You will briefly see one of the following messages listed on the device’s display: “Personalized with MNC2” or “Personalized with MNC3”.
    Wait approximately three seconds.
The display will indicate “Network” and a picture of a closed lock.
    Press Select.
The display will indicate “Unlock (Net) 5” and “NCK:”
Enter the 16 digit NLCK4U code (unlock code we provided you) and press okay.
The handset will display “Network unlocked” and the display “Insert SIM” appears.
    The handset is successfully unlocked.

    OR

Input a non accepted SIM card
The phone will prompt you for a code
    Enter code.

i have tried both methods but am unable to do it ...

    pls advice/suggest

You have an Android phone the first method only works with older non-Android phones like the k800 or k770 etc.
The second method should work (as far as I can tell from YouTube samples) - start phone using SIM card from different network you should get a message to enter NCK code.
If this doesn't work then a) your phone is permanently locked b) the other network SIM card is not compatible or damaged c) the stock ROM probably doesn't allow unlocking.
