ST18i DEAD AFTER UNLOC AND FLASH - GSM-Forum

Hi all,i recieved a se st18i which was network locked and had a password in it.I unlocked it first with omnius but gave an error that i ad no credits.so i unlocked it using se tool and after flashed it with software version 4_1_B_O_431.APP_SW Which was the latest on setool by then.after that the phone was switching on and hanging on sony.i came across a post that said to flash it and select lt15i and press recovery but after successfull recovery now it cant flash with or wthout testpoint.i recovered it with testpoint.what can i do?

flash with lower version of firmware

use Medusa flasher to unbrick it.

thank ua ll but i donthave medusa box at the moment.let me try to use a lower version and i will post results.thanx

flashed with a lower firmware but now still starts up and hangs on sony erricson as before.what can i do next?

if you know the original firmware version,, flash with that.

sorry i have been down.thanks for all yo replies but unfortunately i dont remember the software version it was on.anything else i can try?all yo help is welcome and thanks again

look at your setool logs, it should say there..hopefully.
