    Strange behaving T610

I have here a T610 that behaves very strange...

When I turn it on, I see the blue sandclock then the phone suddenly turns blank for 2 seconds, then the sandclock comes back up again.
After waiting some more time I get to the point where I enter my PIN. But then nothing more happens. I could wait for hours.

Another strange thing: When I leave out the SIM card and turn it on, the sandclock appears as usual, then also the usual blank the reappearing sandclock. After that it says, Insert SIM. Ok, but if I try to turn off then phone, it doesnt really shut down. The screen is black, but its not turned off...

Does anyone know what went wrong here??

me too! but now the problems solved by this way

disable wallpaper, startup pic, and screen saver

do "Master reset" -> "Reset settings"

    upload AVR flash
***if then not success, try "patched" AVR flash***

    upload ARM flash

    check the "Clear SP locks"

    check the "Clear User Codes"

check the "Default SP Area (empty phones)"

check the "Change IMEI:" and enter 15-digits original IMEI#
    *** better use original IMEI#***

    upload T610_FullGdfs.gdf

    then ... voila!

ok, that sounds good. i just have the problem that i cannot access the phone at all.
When I enter the PIN, the phone freezes...

But I can access the Service Info Menu. But everytime I want to go to "SW information" the phone freezes again...

ok, lets assume, I dont do a Master Reset.

Is it correct to do two steps:
    1. flash AVR and ARM as described above
    2. check all the things and flash GDFS at the same time?

Is the file "T610_Original_GDFS_area.gdf" the correct file??

Well, I tried what you described KoTsK, but without any success...

I don't even know what is wrong. I suppose it has something to do with the Security Area, but I am not sure...

Any more help would be very appreciated
