T316 Emergency Call Only - GSM-Forum

I have unlocked a T316. After it is done I have put in a New SIM , but it says emergency calls only. The phone is 850/1800/1900 the New SIM is 900/1800.

The Connect \ GSM Network \ Search Mode is set to Automatic

Please assist

UNLOCK the phone again

Unlocking it again or master resetting it won't help.

Providing the phone actually worked before you got it, the reason for "Emergency calls only" means that the network couldn't be found.

Check that your network has 1800mhz service where you are... it could be that 1800mhz service is only in certain areas.

By the way, what country are you in?
