Technical Question about unlocking with server

Hello everybody,

I'm going to buy a V600i which is a branded K600i from SE. I would like to de-customize and unlock that mobile.
I hope that some internet server with logs or credits will do that when the v600 is officialy released.
But because this will be my first SE I have some question about the use of internet servers. I used google and the forum search but I couldn't find anything usefull so I would be grateful if sombody can explain or point me at something useful.

To use a server, I have to download a flash tool and the appropriate firmware for de-customization, right? To finish the flashing process I need a so called credit or log.

1. What happens technicaly when I flash the mobile with a server?
2. Is the log needed for unlock the flashing tool or must the server process some kind of checksum ?
3. What data for flashing the mobile needs the server? Does the server need some data from SE and does the server owner has to pay for that?
4. Is there any possibility to flash off-line?

When you have the Client software, almost everything is done by the client software ... but it will connect to the server for credit deduct ... or sometimes for security check ... i am not a programmer, don't really know when will the Client contact server, but I am sure most of the process is done by the CLient software ..
