A V800 killed by Davinci Server! - GSM-Forum

Dear friends,

My friend killed his V800 by trying to turn-off the shutter sound!

He pressed the "Flash" button and there is an error shown as attached! The phone will not turn-on any more!

Any solution to recover this V800?

hi,

I don't think it is possible to turn off the shutter sound on V800...

About the error, I don't think anything was written to phone... did he try to reinsert the battery?

if it doesn't help he should contact someone from support

I know this is a stupid mistake he made

He did remove the battery but the phone still refuse to turn-on!

Also I have been looking for the support from ICQ, but no one is appeared!

Davinci is suported to UNLOCK V800 ...not flash. Your friend is crazy??

now he also knows it, hehe...

I hope someone will answer soon as I am really interested what happened... the phone didn't accept the loader and refused to flash of course. but I don't get why the phone doesn't want to turn on now...

maybe software write sime bits (some loader) and results we have. if Davinci will make possibly flash this model - wy ge answer and antiditum

I guess when you try to "Finalize", the software will upload some new setting to the GDFS or Customerize area, because this is the way to kill the shutter sound when dealing with K700 or S700!

Lucky enough this V800 is his own phone, so he can wait

but to be possible to upload some new settings you need to have loader in the phone and from the screenshot you can see that loader was not even accepted... that's why I am interested what happened to the phone...

I guess, and only guess, this is the 2nd screen he captured for me. After he killed the V800 at the 1st try, he try to run it again, so it won't accept any more loader! Do you know what I mean?

yes I can also guess only... and I wonder what the 1st screenshot was

... If he damaged something in his phone (GDFS) I guess the phone wouldn't be recognized 2nd time he tried... but it was recognized

...

I don't know if DaVinci has a free option (maybe Read CID), but he can try to Read Data or User Codes with setool2 for free to see what he will get... it also puts loader into the phone, so I wonder what will be result...
