| w550i ERROR: EROM (Boot) damaged with Cruiser/Recovery option! Hi friends... i have got a dead w550i>>i tried to flash it with cruiser with files of latest version...but sorry to say it did not complete flashing ...the main file ARM file was written upon well..the second file Raw FS was also written well...but when i customized the phone it asked again to remove RSA... Then i switched to USB-SMART....it gave an error message>> ERROR: EROM (Boot) damaged with Cruiser/Recovery option!  What should I do...i have a strong desire to learn more and share more and more...?? anticipating a quick reply from masters in this field |

| why switched to USB-SMART? You could remove and then customized it with cruiser. what message you are getting now with cruiser? if boot is damaged then you can repair it by testpoint. |

| you struggling because this is a cid 49 phone , thus the filesystem must be flashed first, and customise it, before you flash the main (ARM). lets start again useing cruiser. select model. Remove RSA, now if need be , go to flash tab and repair erom..(if possible) Direct unlock.. Flash File system, and customise fs, from drop menu select same as ur files. now flash the main (arm).. remove battery and replace (without sim card) switch on, let it finish with please wait screen, then you can add sim.. fially put usb-**** in draw and forget about it.. |

| No response This may indicate damaged EROM area! Try repairing the phone via testpoint method. If it is an old phone, try converting it to brown first. Script error: Unspecified [10.39.41] my w550i dosen flash it hangs while waiting for acknowledge... and gives the above message. |

| W550i dead HI, I have a SE W550i CID RED 49, it had white screen when you turn it on, I tried to flash it but when flashing main it gave an error and terminated all processes. Now its dead and when I try to attach it with cruiser it gives the following and do not attach, I need help what can I do to solve the situation. "System diagnostics passed. Version 12.10 ready! |  sir u hve to use testpoint method to recover eprom damagae w550i phones. click on any cid use testpoint . Before that give test point to phone. Attach d phone then go to unlock rsa tab, there click on convert to brown first.After that come to flashing part. Now repair damage erom area by pressing on it. Now flash with w550i flash file , generally i flash with r4cb red cid file. first flash arm ,then write raw fs, then customise fs,then shutdown fs. Now check d phone by detaching it through shutdown fs. If still not done then again attach d phone & in rsa tab restore firmware. All done with cruiser. |
