    W995 No Access to Network

A customer just brought a Sony ericsson w995 in, which she is using on ORANGE, and often it comes up with message "No Access To Network" on the phone screen. Sometimes, the Orange icon and signal come up, but when she tried to ring, it still doesnt do it. I dont think the phone is blocked/black-listed, coz when i tried a different network in it, such as Vodafone or Virgin, then it comes up fine and shows full signal and it can even ring out on it fine. It just doesnt seem to work with Orange.

I have flashed the phone once with the latest firmware, but still same problem with Orange, but other networks are fine.

Can some please advise me what to do. thnx

the phone is already unlocked. And i dont think you can change IMEI on W995 anyway. Now the phone also doesnt work on O2. Its comes up with O2 icon and signal, but wont ring out.

When a phone blocked it can take days sometime a week before all the other networks blocked it, Check the sim's your using on diff phone, if they work on that then i would say the phone blocked, but to confirm it ring orange with imei

easiest way to check is the 3 high pitched tones, with a voda,or virgin,as these show signal even in a blocked mob,,,just ring out,,,if you hear 3 high pitched tones, then mob is blacklisted 100%.
and 1 poster above say,if blacklisted,on 1 network, take time 2 blacklist on other network,,,this totally wrong,,,,once blacklisted on any1network in uk,it blacklisted on all,,,they all use same database.....
(can be used overseas though, except brussels....lol)

    no network access,
    solution not imei,,to make sure,,unlock mob,and try a virgin,or t-mob,or vodafone,if 3 high bleeps,then it barred,,,,if no net access with 1 of them sims then read on:
read secureunits with script via setool(must have real setool-paid for version)
write working gdfs from another working mob same model,(do not power on)
then write secureunits back,(do not power on)
    fully flash +customerise.......done

must have paid for version of setool to do this,,,do not try with free version,,u brick ur mob.....
