Who has successfully changed P900 imei using DIV? and who has had trouble?

I need to know some figures here as i have done a hell of a lot of research into this, and having performed the imei change myself i am having mixed results from a lot of people.

Firstly, I have a P900 which is unlocked, but has the branded o2 software. I have managed to change the imei on the p900 successfully using the terminator dongle and DIV 1.9. Only prob is the phone will be slower in opperation after flash, also u will not be able to use gprs, wap or the video camera. If you do so the phone will just restart. I have seen posts from many people with the same problem, and also from others who have used the same dongle and software with no problems like the ones i describe.

Therefore i would like to get some feedback from users to see if there is a common variable we are all sharing, i.e. if there is an issue changing imei on network branded phones i.e. o2. Please reply if you have changed the imei successfully WITH A TERMINATOR dongle, or if you are having issues like the ones i mention. Either way, please mention if you are using a branded p900, what version firmware is on your p900, and which version of DIV you used.

This way maybe we can help a lot of people who are having trouble

    thanks

As above, I have a p900 with o2 software branding, with software version R3C006. I changed imei sucessfully using Terminator dongle and DIV 1.9 but am experiencing the above mentioned problems

use twister flasher that haven't any bug at all so its wroking 100% it's fix the calculating it self and update the phone right Div have bugs and not working 100% with this but there is yes solution some were for this but not right. i use twister and it's working 100% better then terminator dongle and that is not really right stuff for so new phone so better buy a good twister box instead and use that for updateting the software and fix imei!

so you have used a twister dongle to achieve 100% results?? How much was your dongle? I will wait for more replies first before i buy one as i am positive several members have said they have changed the imei with a terminator dongle with 100% success.

Do you use patched flash? And why div 1.9? I use 3.1 or 4, it worth a try maybe it will work ok.

    Hi,

i have an unlocked O2 p900, & my firmware version is R401 which that SE online update service replied to me as this is the latest version for O2.

i searched alot for a right way to unbrand my phone since i got a serious problem with the firmware i'm using, my phone is not connecting to any blutooth headsets at all "ARGGGGGHHH ". i found out that the best tool to do it is by using SE Fighter, but i was told also the even if i succeed unbranding my phone i cant use the SE online update srevice because it will read the IMEI stored in the OPT & reflash my phone w/ the original O2 firmware . i havent tried this by my own, so hope some1 can help me about it

ok i tried again last night with terminator dongle and the new div4 and patched flash from cellular-support. STILL the same result. I cant understand it. Also, when i rebuilt the imei from the otp before and reverted the phone back to the original imei, the phone would function normally again, however when i tried this last night it did not work!!!

PLEASE if any1 knows how to fix this let me know because it is doing my head in!! does any1 in the uk have a tried and tested method that works who would be willing to change the imei on my phone for a fee?

    OK,

After months of seraching and plenty of issues I have FINALLY worked out what causes the restart problems on the p900 when changing the imei...

You have the option of two flashes to choose from when u download the imei OTP patch, if you are having the reset problems, flash the other flash and change the imei. Thats it. My *** it couldnt be any simpler.... I now have a fully functional P900 again!
