As cellular-support is down I would be very grateful if somebody could provide a link or send me patched Z600 flashes for div please.

Flashed 2 Z600 with the software from gordon and no problems at all, both phones works fine.

patched firmwire is different

it is not normal firmwire
gorden does not have it that i am aware of

OK - I had seen the terminology "patched" used to describe the files that folks like the_laser and merwin had on cellular-support when they were online, and these were the files that were intended to be used with DIV.

My understand (from a few people on this forum) is that the files that Gorden is hosting do, indeed, work with DIV 5, and are a good, safe files to use.

The only other thing I can think of might be "patched" in the sense of having the automatic RSA locking removed so that when you flash your phone with it, the locking is NOT applied. I don't know for a fact that these flashes are RSA-free (although I've had a few people assure me that the flashes work just fine). I'm also not sure if that's an issue, since DIV 5 can tear down the RSA locking and allow you to re-flash the phone again any time you need to.

I will verify one of the Z600 tonight and see if it's RSA protected or not, phone flashed with files from Gordon.

But i'm starting to think that patched files = allows IMEI change without getting 4 locks.

these were found on cell support before it went down

Just verified the R6C005 software from gordon and it's RSA FREE!!!

Excellent - thanks! That's all I need! Now I can flash my z600 up to R6! (although I've been told that ti's really not especially different from R5...but it's nice to stay current)

"Me too" on the original request, please!! Bought a Z600 from police auction but comes up with 'invalid phone' with multipe SIMs - are assuming its IMEI has been blocked. Strangley though, can still access Vodafone Live!
