Member: 2780150 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Changing ESN on TimePort P8737 I have an only TimePort P8737 that has ************** proprietary firmware on it to work with the audio system in the vehicle. It has been in use and still works, although the buttons are showing some significant wear. I have purchased a replacement with in excellent condition with the same ************** firmware, and would like to change the ESN of the new one to the previous one, as the CDMA carrier will no longer activate this old of a phone and are telling me I need to upgrade. That would remove the very convenient external antenna on the car's benefits as well as the integration into the COMAND navigation unit and instrument cluster. Could someone point me in the correct direction to do this? I have the TimePort data cable (so old it is the serial version). Could anyone recommend what software would be needed to purchase? Thank you! |
