Memory Dump - VX8550 & Others

I've done a ton of research but am coming up a bit short so I'm asking for help.

I have an old phone that had some pictures of my parents (who recently passed away) that I really want to recover. Unfortunately they were deleted but I know for a fact they were on there at one point. I am fairly adept with file recovery and carving but am having difficulty with dumping the entire raw memory.

The phone is a LG Chocolate 2 (Vx8550). So far I've tried several programs and even went out and bought a USF3 twister which doesn't seem to do the trick.

Does anyone have any idea on how I could just dump the entire memory?
