Huawei y7 prime charge only when turned off - GSM-Forum

Hi guys
I have a huawei y7 prime that doesn't charge unless it is turned off an it continue to charge when turned on but while the charger is still plugged in
Does a faulty DC charging port do this?

check data line d+ and d- if not change charging connector
