5s blue screen error 9 - GSM-Forum

after replacing screen the phone shows apple logo then blue screen then it getting off
i tried to restore it gives error 9
now its showing itunes symbol and gets off
how to solve this problem

the problem is with a screw on the top right hand side of the phone that holds down the screen. that screw is very small and if a bigger screw is place inside, it will damage pcb and result blue screen. you would have to remove the screw socket and link back all traces of connections.

ill soon post a video as to how to repair this.

this will be very technical, but tested 100% by me.

Micous is right. You used the longer screw on the wrong socket and damaged the traces on the board by jaming the screw to deep (because its to long for that mounting hole)
There is a guide in the Hardware repair Section how ppl repaired it, but its not easy and needs some equipment

Don't misguide someone for error 9
99% coz of nand memory chip error 9 come up,for screw and damage track error 14 come up ,so dont copy and paste and misguide people.

you did control if the phone have long screw problem??
error 9 mean Hdd problem
