can't use Whatsapp after recieving a strange messege !!!
 

I have iPhone 5s running IOS 12. I received a strange message and when i tried to open it whatsapp freeze and can't use it any more and don't get any messages except this strange message even after deleting it many times and blocked the number i still get this message and can't use whatsapp anymore

How to fix this ???

Delete app and reinstall again, see if it works normally.

Aren't the chats automatically backed up? I remember a few months ago there was an issue with previous versions of whatsapp (someone could take control of your device) so they requested everyone to uninstall it, and re-install the latest version.


I remember reading something saying that you can back-up your previous chats but I could be wrong.

Hi bro in ur pc open the page web.whatsapp.com scan it in ur whatsapp ...open ur whatsapp chats in pc and delete the msgs which u have got recently ur problem will be solved bro im sure 100%...........

If killme12 suggestion doesn't work for you, you can also try using "CopyTrans Shelbee" software. It's a paid software.

Replace the "(*)" with ".", (I can't post links yet).

The software lets you back-up your Whatsapp chats via pc, it stores it via PC, and then you can go ahead and reinstall Whatsapp on your phone. Then you can use CopyTrans Shelbee to transfer your messages back to your phone.
