Gmail make it easy to import contacts to Android. This manually solution isn't simple but it is free.

You should log into your Gmail on iPhone 5 and sync your contacts to it. And then sign into the account again and download it to your Android phone. It may seem a little difficult. You can also use tools to transfer the contact from this iPhone 5 to the Samsung Galaxy S6 for you.

1 login to your icloud.com
2 export your contacts
3 attach in mail and open mail in Samsung or any android mobile
4 download attachment and tap on import contact Mobile/Gmail
5 .. happy

how to transfer itunes backup to android

simple method is
make backup from itunes and install smart switch for s6
smart switch auto detect iphone backup just restore it.....
other wise sync contacts from itunes and and again sync from smartswitch.......
