iPhone 5 - Battery Issue Or Board ?

Hello All,
I have a old iPhone 5 and i changed the battery to a new one .Also replaced the Power Switch Ribbon Cable As Power on/off switch was not working .After assembling the phone back all was good ,I could connect to my apple charger and charge the battery 'to 100% ,Backup after this was good .But when the battery reached near 0% state and the phone switched off it never came back online i tried charging with many charger that i have and work fine .I then replaced the battery to another one and same thing happened ,Either it might be that the battery lot i have is bad or might be its a motherboard issue .I have ordered a new battery from one seller far off from me so that i could verify if indeed i have a bad battery lot .Can you folks suggest what could be the issue with the motherboard please if indeed you think i could be the board .
