Iphone 5 GSM water damaged error 4005 boot loop

Hi to all!

I bought a water dameged Iphone 5, cleaned it thoroughly with IPA after removing the shields and put a new battery in it. Now it`s stuck in boot loop...5 seconds Apple, then dark and so on.
When I hold the home button while putting it in USB it goes into recovery.
I am able to get into DFU, but in the end it always ends up in Error 4005 , itunes keeps waiting on the Iphone and the phone is in the loop mentioned before.

I tried 2 different new batteries, getting new docks next week, but I`m afraid it has to do something with hardware, tried 4 different computers also.

Anyone another idea about this, please

Still hoping it will work in the end to give it to my daughter

@wynand2000
mate, until u got new docks u better check few things.

1. make sure u are using original USB cable
2. make sure itunes is up-to-date
3. not using any USB HUB. plug the cable straight to the USB ports that's connected directly to Main board.

i wish ur daughter gets her iphone real soon

Hi String Master, thanks for respond!

1: Usb cable is original
2: Itunes is up to date
3: I tried different computers , also in the rear USB which is directly to the Motherborad.
So I guess I did try everything you mentioned , but still nothing

Thanks again and certainly thanks for the wish that my daughter finally gets a newer iPhone!
