Member: 619497 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Iphone 5 GSM water damaged error 4005 boot loop I bought a water dameged Iphone 5, cleaned it thoroughly with IPA after removing the shields and put a new battery in it. Now it`s stuck in boot loop...5 seconds Apple, then dark and so on. When I hold the home button while putting it in USB it goes into recovery. I am able to get into DFU, but in the end it always ends up in Error 4005 , itunes keeps waiting on the Iphone and the phone is in the loop mentioned before. I tried 2 different new batteries, getting new docks next week, but I`m afraid it has to do something with hardware, tried 4 different computers also. Anyone another idea about this, please Still hoping it will work in the end to give it to my daughter |

So I guess I did try everything you mentioned , but still nothing Thanks again and certainly thanks for the wish that my daughter finally gets a newer iPhone! |
