iphone 5 : reboots when syncing or trying to backup

Whenever i try to update or backup the phone , it reboots.

at first the screen fades into green or red or what not color. and then goes black - and the phone restarts. (I have a video of it on youtube, but can't link cause i'd need more forum points)

It doesn't matter if i backup using the lightning cable, or over WiFi.

I replaced the display since the glass was cracked. but I had the same problem before.

Interestingly I managed to download iOS 9 without a single reboot (which took more than an hour), but when i try to install it , the phone dies after some 15 seconds.

any clue what could be the reason?

first of all if you you have sad recalling skill take this approach if you have no skills don't mess it up. if your phone screen goes blue and red color and reboots you got to change U6 ic which is i2c line ic an eprom, that should take care of color changing screen if phone keeps on rebooting after changing i2c ic U6 (not U6_RF) try different battery if different battery doesn't solve this problem you have to change U2 is do this after you have change U6 ic and tried with different battery

as you sensed im not an expert, though studying electronic engineering so im interested.. before loooking into how to replace / get these circuts replaced, could it be only the battery which is the problem? and thus would it be worth the expence of buying a new one to try before?
