iphone 5 will not connect to internet - GSM-Forum

Good morning - new poster here! I have Iphone 5 on TMobile in the USA.
For past couple of weeks cannot connect to internet - safari/google etc. "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding" When I try to open a page eg: CNN all I see is safari opening blue ilne approx 1/8 across screen & then stuck. This happens each time.
WIFI is working fine as usual.

I have done reset/hard reset. Reset network. Backup and restore. Restore as new phone. I tried troubleshoot with TMobile & did not work so they sent a new SIM card. The new SIM card still not workig with internet (SIM works in husbands phone so the card is OK). My phone is nearly 2 years old so no warranty or Applecare. Any other tips to try?
Should I send to Apple to fix? What is their out of warranty cost.
Should I just get a new phone??

do u have internet when u r connected to wifi or not?

Yes I have internet on wifi. Not on cellular. I can make voice calls & receive texts - not imessage though so I switched Imessage off.
At this time my Iphone 5 has all the functions of a basic phone.

iPhone 5, has problems with wifi? its been a while, i mean like 5 months since i have it and its not working properly now.
