I'm sorry newbie just want try to give solution maybe strange solution. Error 2 and 14 ussually problem with usb dock. But maybe my solution look strange but it work. If wanna try, just pull the battery for awhile then put it, then try to restore again. 5 times i'm succes with this strange solution. I'm sorry before.

Dear i have 5 phones with the same problem
all happened just while switching frames to gold plated frames
all were brand new box pcs
none of them were jailbroken
professional care has been taken while doing job

Doriwala1 you suggested to Remove Cydia All Tweak
can this be done for non jailbroken phones stuck on recovery?
If so pls give details or links for step by step procedure will like to try.
have doubts as even some apps can cause this problem

I have solution for iphone 5s restore error 14 with blue screen.
Problem occur after frame replaced or droped.
I have solved two phones of such problem.

try changing charging flex cable
If not helped try changing battery
Even not helped finally try to change LCD
If didnt solved this means your iphone has dead

sir, try to restore using redsnow_win_0.9.15b3 in DFU mode. hope your problem will solve.

I have 5 iphone 4 and 1 pod2 but always getting error 14 , i changed 3 systems and 2 time windows but same problem .

my problem solved . i restore all phones with 7.1 because 7.1.1 restore files are corrupt. you can check by click on restore after 80 to 90% downloading file give you error by server .

Buy an original usb cable (Energizer) it will work.
If not, change PC, update/reinstall itunes.
Idk what else... I really hope it will work, mine does not charge as well and i buy an original usb cable energizer black type... (But i never recive this error
