iphone 5S vertical line and no touch (not screen problem) - GSM-Forum

Hi, I have a customers phone that came in for a screen replacement after being dropped onto a tiled floor. I replaced the screen and afterwards found a vertical white line running from top to bottom (1/2" wide) near the center of the screen. This area is completely unresponsive to touch. I assumed the new screen was bad so i tried another but it had exactly the same line. I then tried two original apple displays which i know are good but they also had the exact same problem.

What's going on? Could this be a touch IC problem? I've checked near the connector and couldn't find any damage or missing components

help I have problems with this 5s I state that I have already replaced the ic touch screen makes me this problem can you help me please? thank you
