try a re-flow of the processor heat it up to about 180.c until the solder liquifys then let it cool that should solve your problem we had an i pad come in to the shop with the same problem done my head in for a long time i just put it on an infrared re-flow station but you should be able to do it with a hot air iron the center has to hit at least 180.c or it will not work with an air iron it should take about 2-3 minutes with the air iron on 250 on a low fan speed good luck let me know how you go
