This is a bug, tested in 4, 4s and 5. Maybe it is not working with 6splus.
I do not have a 6s plus for testing.

how can we "reset settings" with out access to the settings menu yet
bit of a catch 22... or is there a different way to do this ??

you MUST have access to iPhone menu, you MUST know the phone code.

...
This is used on already activated devices.
If you full restore the iPhone with any software, you will need to do the activation wizzard again, so you will be locked up.
This method will not help you

This is successful when:
* you know the user code,
* you have full access to the phone menu.
This will help you to remove the iCloud user without knowing the iCloud password, even is FMI is ON.

You just write this backup to any iPhone 4, 4s, 5, 5c or 5s in the same time when starting up after a "Reset All Settings" from menu.
In the moment the software detects the iPhone, you can do a "Restore" to this specific backup, which is the same for all this models.

If it cannot be done, there will be no harm to the phone.
If the iOs or phone model is not supported, then the backup will not be written, and ERROR 22 will persist.

In this case, you will have access to the phone menu like usual. It will not lock you up. The user code will be reset I think, so if you want to use it, you may set it up again.

Just make sure you do just a "reset all settings" and leave the content intact.

...press THANKS... :P
