Member: 2463290 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | first try at ipad screen replacement I forgot to disconnect the battery before removing the LCD, (the ipad was switched off) I always do this on phone repairs, but for some reason I just didn't think to do it. anyway, i thought i'd carry on and plugged in the new LCD, all I can see is the backlight is on, but no image on the screen. I was wondering if I have ****n the backlight filter or IC ? there is not even a faint image on the screen, it is just black It could just be a faulty lcd, but I am just wondering what to do next? thanks |
