IPad mini help

Hello, I really could use some thoughts and advice. I was attempting to replace the digitizer on an Ipad mini, model A1600. The screen was damaged significantly and during the removal process one of the glass shards cut a ribbon on the upper right side. Could anyone advise me where I can pick up a replacement part like this? If so that would be great. Also, what is it? Is it for the wifi? I have replaced many IPhone screens with no issues so I thought this would be breeze... wow was I wrong... Any help would be great... Thanks again in advance... I was going to add some pics but seem to be not allowed...

I am beginning to wonder if it is a speaker... there are two similar pieces on both sides of the camera. the one on the right, if looking at it disassembled, is the one with the cut ribbon.
