Member: 2236873 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | hi, i have a error 9 to, but the screen is black, when i connect it to a pc, itunes says it's in recovery mode, but no display, i says restore and update, it downloads the new firmware, it tries to install it, i get the apple logo on the screen even with the bar to flash the firmware, but fails. i notice that the serial number is gone (n/a) . i think that why , because the server reject it because of no serial number or udid. anyone know how to reflash the udid and serial number? thanks |

Member: 2468880 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 15 | Hi, Ipad 2 cannot by updated from version 4 to 9, it throws error 9. To fix this i was adviced by support to update Ipad to version 5 (thats first version with OTA update). But Apple is no more signing Ios 5 for Ipad 2 so there is no way to update to Ios 5... No response on this part of problem so its more like we are at dead end You cant instal unsigned updates only with blob for that version and via redsn0w, but as far as i know it has to by blob fetched from your device from the time when apple was signing that update..... Plus one extra thing - apple point/apple store/etc cannot fix that themselves.. If you are stuck in recovery mode try "FonePaw" and use reset option.. Other software is working too, but they forced almost every function out of free trial version... |

Find the "Beta" firmware for your iPad, Download and Restore your device with it, And you're done, BR |
