replaced my ipad screen, but now not taking touch input

Hello,

I hope that someone can provide some insight. I just went through my first time replacing a cracked digitizer on my ipad mini. As I was finishing up and before I allowed the new digitizer to seal into place, I powered up the ipad to make sure all was working. Everything seemed to be in order, the LCD was beautiful and the screen was taking my touch inputs without a problem. I powered down, exposed the adhesives on the digitizer and fastened into place. Now the system wont recognize my touch. I have tried to reposition the digitizer multiple times with no change. The LCD still looks great but it wont recognize input. I do not understand at all as it was working perfectly right before I sealed the screen. Any help would be appreciated.

try first Hard reset - Home and Power button at the same time for 7-10 sec or to the time you see Apple logo.

Unfortunately apple is such a technology that fixing anything affects the operability of the device later on. I also replaced the screen on my iPad mini, after which I could have just thrown it away.

Don’t buy cheap 3rd party parts and if not that good at repairs get it done by someone.. I have kids that brake allot of iPhone and iPads, and never put one or even had one that could be put in bin.
