Member: 2594574 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | replaced my ipad screen, but now not taking touch input I hope that someone can provide some insight. I just went through my first time replacing a cracked digitizer on my ipad mini. As I was finishing up and before I allowed the new digitizer to seal into place, I powered up the ipad to make sure all was working. Everything seemed to be in order, the LCD was beautiful and the screen was taking my touch inputs without a problem. I powered down, exposed the adhesives on the digitizer and fastened into place. Now the system wont recognize my touch. I have tried to reposition the digitizer multiple times with no change. The LCD still looks great but it wont recognize input. I do not understand at all as it was working perfectly right before I sealed the screen. Any help would be appreciated. |
