Member: 1198842 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 162 | 100% Repair bricked baseband with last Redsn0w 1- Put Iphone DFU mode, and let Itunes write the firmware 5.1.1.. after itunes finish sending the first stage and it showing itunes verfying the software.. i pluged out the iphone from the PC and closed Itunes. ( iphone will hang on apple logo and install process bar.... from this stage i force it direct to go DFU mode again. 2- run Redsn0w last version, and select ios 5.1.1 and downgrade ipad option and do the rest as usual 3- after finish the process on the iphone it will not run, hang again with apple logo ( because no complete ipsw written on it ) 4- i run Redsnow again to as step 2 again with same option ( it will not h arm your device doesnt matter how many time you do it ) to me i just do it 2 time to besure somethings will happen to the baseband firmware.. 5- after finish i put the device in DFU mode again and let Itunes flash it again with stock 5.1.1 it finished with out any error and it can aktivated with its original simcard from DE T-Mobile, and unlock the baseband 05.16.05 via T-mobile siside as it is 2 years old.. all thanks and geridet goes to DEV team. |

Member: 830204 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 21 | The iPad baseband is not compatible with 3GS units manufactured week 34 of 2011 or later. If you have an iPhone3GS and if digits 3-5 of its Serial Number are 134 or later (xx134…), then you should NOT try to install the 06.15 baseband on your 3GS! It will brick your radio, preventing both the downgrade from working and normal iPhone software from using it as a phone! Be warned! |

Member: 388962 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.1637202 Thanks Meter: 264 | 2 years old means he just didn't know what to do before, it is not new baseband and it is not damaged baseband but a software problem only. it means his 3gs is 2010 model which is supported by downgrade and upgrade of baseband. |
