hi,

I still have problem with wifi, soemtimes when i do reset network settings it works, wifi comes on connects to network but looses connection after about 5-10 seconds. But after i switch off the phone and on again it doesn't work. Back to No Wi-Fi greyed out.

Please someone help. Anyone who had this problem, can you tell me how to fix it. I have IPhone 3g 3 weeks old with 3.1.2 and baseband 05.11.07

can you please help me on how to restore with the custom firmware?
Because with restore itune boton, i've not option to choice this firmware.

lol READ POST. its for activate and unlock and also to bbypass the fact that you cant switch off phone. (doesnt work on some 3gs with "newboot" lol)

I've do like you say in the post , but when i'm at step 4, if i click restore i've not option to choice the custom firmware. Soft start a new restore like step 1

HOLD DOWN "SHIFT AND CLICK RESTORE" Option for firmware will popup

Install cydia if you dont have it yet. In blackra1n you will get option for cydia install. Do this while ur wifi is working.

With wotking wifi, run cydia, go to "MANAGE" ---> "Add Source" ---> "Edit" ---> "Add" enter cydia.iphoneil.net hit the "Add source" --> "Done" click the "iPhoneil.net" you just added and search for "Push Fix & Youtube" install it.

Should fix ur problem

i have done that already..

I have used the custom software offered on the thread. Cydia was already installed. I don't have any wifi since it looses connection so quicly. But i managed to get to the source and put in on the iphone using Cyder.
So when i go to cydia, push fix is installed but still, i can't connect to wifi and sometimes its greyed out.

Something im doing wrong or maybe something new?
