You can't mate , if you have new version you can't.

If you have any other old version on iphone try Cyder[1]...by malikkk

LOOKING the serial number of your phone, if 4 and 5 digits> 41, ie

phones with a serial number XXX42 XXX43 XXX44 XXX45 and
etc. - On the phone BootRom new - it is unlocked
until the first reboot or turn off the phone.
Then we need to re-run BlackRain.
LOOKING the serial number of your phone, if 4 and 5

BootRom old - the phone is unlocked completely.

thanks Boyov-txa, i bought from a friend 5 iphone 3gs, and just one with 42 with old iboot, but what tha........ i can wait for geohot or dev team to bring something new, i hope this have solution..

tested using MAC and it doesnt solve the problem for 3GS 3.1.2

I have the exact same problem where it would take me to recovery mode after rebooting. I tried to restore my phone but it would reboot back to recovery mode and restoring would fail. Has anyone restored your phone after receiving this problem? I would like to know in case I mess up my phone...

Ok i found out how to restore, when itune tries to reboot the iphone, it will reboot into recovery mode then what you have to do at that point is help it out a little by holding the on/off button along with the home key, then your phone should be able to reboot. now my only problem is my iphone reads no service...
