Had more than 10 3GS'es with xxx40-44xxxx serials and all of them had new bootrom.

that's what i'm saying, if you got serial's 4th and 5th digit between 40 and 45
it can be new or old bootrom , but if > 45 than it's certainly having new bootrom .
