today i saw one more post asking about its safe to install ipad baseband in 3gs
now i m telling u to have u can check yourself without any tool , its safe to update your ipad baseband like your phone serial no. is 88106F9AEDG
the third digit of your serial no. means year like
this serial no third digit is 1 that means its =2011
if its 0 like this 88006F9AEDG , then that means its 2010
& fourth & fifth digit is your week like this serial no.88106F9AEDG
its fourth & fifth digit is 06 , that means is 06 week
is your serial no .is like 88116F9AEDG, that means is 16 weeks

most important from 2011, 24 week or below than u can update your iphone 3gs ipad baseband , but after 2011, 25 weeks or ahead 25 weeks u cant update ipad baseband or u will loose your imei , wifi & bluetooth adress
