Exactly.

Erotic sound files do not somehow allow BBUpdaterExtreme to convince the baseband to downgrade itself.

Also, that "02.30" you see in Settings->General->About is the baseband telling Preferences.app what version it's running. It would not say 02.30 if it were actually running 02.28.

Lastly, yellowsn0w is not compiled to work on 02.30.

But for the layman, the erotic sound files should be enough to tell you they're playing with you.

After test this solution i realized that this is never gonna work, the files in the solution are not possible to downgrade baseband.
I did the process right but without any success with any iphone, tested on 3 pieces. After writing yesterday that we should all thank this team for hard work i changed my dessition about this. I am just talking for myself but i know i am not alone feeling like this:

i wrote a litle bit more here.

not 2 different account. I have exlplained this to admins also many time. we have big shop and we work together with 3 other shops . Sometimes they some to our shop and use our interent comnnectons..

I personaly dont know gsmman187 but he does come to one of the shops now and then but this guy is genuis. he has most many 1st solutions in this country..
I work for the main company as just minor repair / unlock etc. but I think if true they had 5 guys here working ón it and it didnt work, then I believe 100% it doent work,

However like i said if you can guide me through whilst i am dong it e.g. msn, yahoo,, etc the i am happy to learn.. would even giv me a bit of status agaisnt these moe pro I am working with,, ,SALAMAT

Hi all,
So me too ran the same procedure and it didn't work. BUT, looking at the log I can see this:

progress: 100 percent, 6266908 of 6266908. -- OK
Checking validation result... - Warning: Validation result code indicates failure, result code = 0x0
Maybe this can shade some light on what hapend. I think that if the validation failed then the ICE2_02.28.00.fls file (6M) was not applied.
Anyone ? any ideas? I cannot find strace file in order to trace it.
