Member: 203576 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | [HELP] - Stuck in DFU mode Black screen NO history on the phone. Dont know what firmware or baseband it has. The phone is stuck on a black screen and would not respond. When I connect the phone its not recognised. Only gets detected by iTunes when I put it MYSELF in DFU mode (10sec Power&Home - 10sec Home) I have tried restoring it to firmware: 1.1.1 , 1.1.4 and 2.0 - every time I get the SAME error 1601. I have not seen an Apple logo at all - only black screen. Used iTunes 7.5, 7.6 and 7.7 iLiberty+, Ziphone, iDemocracy, iBricker nothing would recognise the phone. Suggestions and help... BR Jazz |

Member: 203576 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | I uninstlled iTunes 7.6 - then deleted the file "iTunes Library.itl" - also deleted Apple Mobile Device support folder - finally installed iTunes 7.5 iTunes 7.5 is not good When I put the phone in DFU mode I hear the sound on windows but iTunes 7.5 does not show the phone in DFU mode. The restore screen in iTunes also does NOT show. On ZiPhone ... when I try to put it to RECOVERY MODE the output log shows the following error: USBMuxListenerCreate: No error Should I go back to iTunes 7.6 or do I need to delete any files? or make any other changes? Member: 465573 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | SAme problem encountered with my iphone. Hi jajukhan have u been able to get out of this damed DFU mode? i'm having the same problem here. I got ver 2.0.2 winpwned on my iphone but when i tried to upgrade to ver 2.1 it got stuck in the 'recovery mode' [usb cable n itunes + cd picture]. However, my iphone is no more recognisable! i tried itunes, ziphone but no success... Pressing sleep/home button, i can enter the DFU mode [black screen] but now ziphone sees my iphone but cant do any magic either since it tells me to restore via itunes. but the latter refuses to detect it! can someone help :s |
