hi bro i dont think you can if it was me i would take a chance and flash it with 3.1.2 firmware br

once you connect the iphone with itune it should show or restore with 3.1.2 but you may get some error to avoid error you can use iREB

can u give more explanation of ireb.........
if we intall it can we downgarde firmware from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2
by installing ireb.........
but bootloader will be the same like before flashed ....

u can downgrade firmware but not modem firmware and as u said even bootloader

u will never get error if u fallow the iREB instruction

please close ur itune before starting your job

put ur phone in DFU mode not in recovery mode which show u the cable in screen


select ur device in iREB and wait until u get white screen in ur phone


let iREB be open till end of ur job and now open itune

press shift and restore and select ur firmware

now phone is updated to 3.1.3 firmware; custome firmware created ok:

baseband : 05.12.01
bootloader : 6.4
model : mb489

problem now when i try to update custom firmware in itune chow this error

Becuse you upgraded baseband to 5.12.01..so cant jailbrack/restore custom 3.1.3...you must wait for new solution !!!!

what u have done without reading, now its locked you cannot do anything even jailbreak and unlock

Iphone 3gs new boot wont accept custom firmware now even you cant downgrade
