Member: 826397 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 3 | iPhone 2G 3.0 custom firmware installation + installd installation for IPA i got my 2G on 3.0 firmware successfully... For those still got the errors, try the following steps.. 1. Download the pwnage3.0 tool and build the custom firmware. 2. First of all, get your iphone into DFU mode by pressing and hold the POWER+HOME button.It will reboot your iphone and wait for the logo appears then release the POWER button. If you successfully get your iphone in DFU mode, iphone screen will be prompted to connect USB interface itunes. And then connect the iphone to cable to your pc. 3. Open up your itunes 8.2. Install or upgrade your itunes 8.2 if you dont have one. Click OK on all those errors prompted. Hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and then mouse click the RESTORE button on your itunes. 4. Choose the custom firmware file. 5. After the restoration has been done. Trigger wifi and from cydia, download and install openssh. The following is a crack for ipa: 7. After installation restart, download installd_30b5.zip (this is equivalent to the previous Mobileinstallation) Download installd_30b5.zip from this link (** = tt) : h**p://rapidshare.com/files/246534810/installd_30b5.zip decompression the installd_30b5.zip and then using winscp copy the installd into the /usr/libexec and set permission to 755 chmod 755 /usr/libexec/installd 8. Restart, then voila... hope that's help.. |
