Iphone 2g no wifi, wifi address N/A solution needed Iphone experts!!! - GSM-Forum

Was searching an hour everywhere on forums and could not find the solution.

Got an Iphone with that prob and can`t get rid of it.
Tried upgrade,downgrade different jailbraking tools and even checked hardware fully which doesn`t look demaged.

Shows in menu "no wifi" and wifi address is n/a.

Can u erase baseband seperately?
If so how?

u need to successfully downgrade the phone to 1.1.4 then all things possible!

1st try to upgrade to 2.2 - this would(should) fix any baseband issues u may have.

if not youre gonna have to do some hardware.

First of all thnx for answers.
Had sometime to work on that iphone and tried really really everything with sw erased baseband too successfully(imei, bluetooth and modem was empty) and put 1.1.4.
Tried almost all versions avaible (only before 1.1.4 not)always same results as phone 100% apart from wifi.

So I`m affraid it`s hardware prob so please someone tell me where is wifi unit located on board.
