i also have same Problem in my I phone 3G 3.0.When i off 3G in setting then i cannot recive any call but dail any number.The Signal Qualtiy also good.

brother jailbreak again with bootloader files

you must give both bootloader files then signal must be came .. do and post results

try another sim card, sometimes sim does not make proper contact with sim socket therefor no signal. i have same problem. i just put a new sim card from another operator. also some iphone needs good 3g sim card.
